TOP TEN COMPETITION
Women in cardiology continue to be under-represented. Although women make up approximately 50% of medical school classes, only 12% of cardiologists are women. Only 4.5% of interventionalists in the United States are women, and women complete only 2.8% of interventional procedures! It’s time to make a change!
C³ certainly hopes so! If you are a female interventional cardiac or vascular physician, C³ is providing an opportunity to be in our 2nd annual TOP TEN competition.
To celebrate the contributions that women make to cardiology, C³ is hosting two special sessions focused on women. The TOP TEN selected and accepted cases and scientific abstracts submitted by women will be featured in these sessions.
C³ will provide: complimentary registration, economy airfare through the C³ travel agency, and up to 4 nights of hotel accommodation (to 10 selected participants).
